This webinar offers an overview of hospice care, grief, grief support and how it can help individuals with intellectual disabilities cope during these difficult times. Throughout the presentation Amy Tucci and Kenneth Doka from the Hospice Foundation of America will touch upon the special issues involving access and services for individuals with ID and focus on the ways that families and persons with ID can more effectively utilize the services of hospice care, such as supportive counseling, pain management, and symptom control as well as grief counseling.
